Braden started his career as a Research Scientist at ExxonMobil’s Upstream Research Center where he focused on developing machine learning solutions for subsurface analysis and interpretation. During his time with ExxonMobil Braden worked extensively with business units to solve challenging technical problems, traveled internationally to promote new technologies, and lead multiple internal and external research collaborations.
After ten years in Houston, Braden and his family had the opportunity to move back to Wyoming and start a new chapter as a Data Scientist at startup Solspec. There, Braden focused on building distributed systems for near real time processing of massive photogrammetry and LIDAR datasets.
Now as VP of Technology at Flowstate, Braden leads R&D efforts to develop next generation technologies to enable improved leak detection for liquid pipelines.
