Artificial Intelligence Engineer / Data Scientist

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer or Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on extending our machine learning-driven solutions in the realm of computational leak detection. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our team and organization, requiring a unique blend of skills in machine learning, scientific computing, and physics-informed modeling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze time series sensor data to enhance our machine learning models for leak detection in complex fluids and settings. 
  • Leverage recent advances in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to build innovative systems for enhanced detection of leaks in complex fluids. 
  • Build machine learning model architectures that integrate and are bounded by the principles of physics to develop robust, physics-informed solutions. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and technological breakthroughs and apply them to develop innovative solutions that advance our project goals. 
  • Design experiments, establish success measures, and formulate comprehensive project plans. 
  • Conduct rigorous research, evaluate results, and effectively communicate findings and issues to stakeholders and management. 
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. 
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in developing machine learning solutions or scientific computing.  
  • Strong background in time series analysis, machine learning, and AI developments. 
  • Proficiency in Python, including its scientific computing and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, NetworkX, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. 
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, needs, and deadlines. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver results with minimal oversight. 
  • Strong collaborative skills, with a history of working effectively in team environments. 
  • Must have US residency; no visa support available
Preferred
  • Experience in integrating physics-based approaches with data-driven models.  
  • Familiarity with hydraulic modeling or computational fluid dynamics. 
  • Experience in designing AI solutions for complex system analysis. 
  • Proficient in the implementation and utilization of graph architectures and/or graph neural networks in complex data analysis and modeling scenarios. 
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments. 
  • Experience integrating machine learning solutions into commercial products or platforms
