DevSecOps Support Specialist

Flowstate Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and security-minded DevSecOps Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting secure and efficient development workflows, managing access across critical systems, maintaining environment integrity, and ensuring compliance with internal security policies. 

This position combines traditional DevSecOps support responsibilities with exposure to industrial technologies such as OPC-UA/DA, MQTT, HMIs, PI Historian, alongside modern cloud technologies. Candidates with a background in IT/OT integration, SCADA systems, or industrial cybersecurity are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and Azure-native services is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Access & Identity Management 

  • Assign and manage least-privilege access across Azure, databases, and CI/CD systems 
  • Automate provisioning workflows; maintain audit logs and compliance artifacts 

Developer & Infrastructure Support 

  • Troubleshoot environment and credential issues 
  • Recreate test environments and assist with OT-integrated deployments 
  • Write scripts to automate repetitive setup and compliance tasks  

CI/CD & Monitoring 

  • Monitor pipelines (Azure DevOps); escalate failures and assist with release prep 
  • Participate in incident response from an infrastructure/security perspective 

Onboarding & Change Control 

  • Create/decommission accounts; maintain IAM documentation 
  • Follow change management processes; update internal docs for audits 

Cloud & Compliance 

  • Support Azure RBAC, service principals, and tagging standards 
  • Report on infrastructure inventory and enforce security policy alignment 

Job Skills and Qualifications

Required
  • 3+ years in IT Ops, DevOps, or infrastructure security 
  • Strong grasp of Azure IAM, RBAC, scripting (PowerShell/Bash), and database access (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) 
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps) and security best practices 
  • Excellent documentation and collaboration skills  
Preferred
  • Exposure to OT/SCADA systems, industrial protocols (OPC-UA/DA, MQTT), or PI Historian 
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep) 
  • Understanding of SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance 
  • Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, Security+, CKA, etc
